“As a practitioner with 18 years [of] experience, the simpler, the better. It includes thorough needs analysis, clear job descriptions, diverse sourcing, structured interviews, skills assessments, background checks, collaborative decision-making, competitive offers, structured onboarding, and continuous feedback for ongoing improvement,” Atty. De Castro stated.

Sir AJ added that the hiring process should follow a recruitment funnel framework and metrics, and that recruiters should further develop skills relevant to recruitment. Moreover, company recruiters shall be equipped with excellent communication skills, both in oral and written, as they will reflect the first impression of the applicants towards the brand.
